The Robinson family was just getting past the loss of their American Bulldog, “Rascal” after having him put down just a short time ago. Thanks to a new Facebook feature, the memory of or Rascal is fresh in their minds.

“I was just getting over the loss, but I opened up my Facebook feed and there he was,” said Mr Robinson.

Another Facebook user, Stephanie Powell, had a similar reaction when she saw an old picure of her holding her cat, “Mittens”.

“I had almost forgotten what Mittens looked like before she met an untimely death after an unfortunate incident with a Coyote”

The feature has gotten such a response that Facebook already has plans to roll out another feature to remind users of dead friends and relatives.

Currently in development, a Facebook feature to remind users about how much fun they had in a previous relationship, which has long since soured.
